CAE Study Tips: Read Ben’s Blog

I just read a comment to my first blog post from someone who hopes to take the CAE exam in a couple of years. I wish him the best.  I also had a comment on that same post from Ben Martin, CAE thanking me for linking to his website.  Those two comments, combined with upcoming ASAE CAE immersion course  has inspired me to start blogging about some of my CAE study secrets (and they must be good because someone at the ASAE annual conference thanked me for presenting them at a luncheon at the last ASAE CAE immersion course).

My first tip is to read Ben’s blog.  His blog is linked to at the right, but what I focused on was his archived posts of CAE study tips. It was my original study blueprint. It’s where I started when I decided that association management was my career choice.  I highly recommend taking a look at it.

“Study blueprint.” Make sure you answer all questions as if you were a 60 year old white man.

That has to be one of my favorite “study blueprints.”
